Bold, wearable nurse humor and queer, sex-positive designs.
HIV+ RN · Sexual-health educator · #HoResponsibly
Bedside manner. Zero judgment.
Hi, I'm the nurse who'll tell you the truth about your body without making it weird. HIV+ RN, sex-ed with a sense of humor, and living proof you can be responsible and a little slutty. Pull up a chair — the shift's just getting started.
The research blog
Queer sex, HIV, harm reduction, politics, and pleasure — explained by a nurse who actually likes sex.
Welcome to the part of the internet where sexual-health research gets translated into actual human language. I'm Brian — a nurse, an openly HIV-positive queer man, and a proud sex-positive slut. I read the studies, guidelines, and political fine print so we can talk about what they mean for queer adults without shame, scare tactics, or pretending nobody is having sex.
Research summaries + my own opinions — clearly labeled as we go.
About the brand
That Slutty Nurse started as a joke with a serious job to do: make sexual health something people actually want to talk about.
I'm an HIV-positive ICU nurse and DNP student who got tired of shame being the default setting. So I built a place where PrEP, U=U, STIs, recovery, and queer life get talked about honestly — with jokes, receipts, and zero judgment.
This is the front door. The merch, the education, and a few bigger projects are on the way.
This site is for education and entertainment and is not personal medical advice. It does not represent any employer, and it is not a substitute for care from your own licensed clinician. For your health, talk to a professional.
